Helping new immigrant families thrive
Algún Día is a project to help migrant children who, to help their families survive, have become candy sellers in the NYC subway system. Our goal is to create a network of support and provide more resources to help them navigate their new lives with opportunities focused on three pillars: access to childcare, education, and workforce development.
Community Convening
After 3 months of canvassing the NYC subways and hearing directly from migrant children and their parents, we know there is something we can do to help our new neighbors and ensure the kids receive the support they need. We look forward to sharing our findings and collaborating with everyone.
